This is the formal notice required by South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act. It explains the lawful basis on which we process your information and how to contact our Information Officer.
1. Responsible party
Finding Naeemo's (Pty) Ltd t/a Naeemo's is the responsible party for the processing of your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
2. Information Officer
Our Information Officer is Darryn Hector, reachable at dhector@naeemos.co.za.
3. Lawful basis for processing
- Contract: to fulfil the order you have placed.
- Legal obligation: to comply with tax, food safety and consumer protection law.
- Consent: for marketing communications.
- Legitimate interest: to prevent fraud and improve our service.
4. Special personal information
Where you tell us about allergies so we can prepare your order safely, we process that information only for that purpose and delete it once the order is complete.
5. Cross-border transfers
Some of our service providers host data outside South Africa under contractual safeguards that meet POPIA's requirements.
6. Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at complaints.IR@justice.gov.za.
